The goal of all of Wagtime’s training is to train you and your puppy to be able to live as happy companions for the life of your pet. 

Linda is a specialist in helping puppy owners to properly train especially .

First Linda explains, teaches and demonstrates to you how she successfully handles and trains your puppy.

Then she works with you and your puppy together so you can continue to practice the lessons you both have learned.

Throughout all sessions, Linda teaches you how to build a healthy, loving and humane dog-owner relationship so that your puppy respects, trusts & listens to you.

The focus of all training is about PREVENTING future dog behavior problems

through educating dog owners with their dogs.

Wagtime offers 2 Puppy Training Programs:

1 - Puppy Business (Potty Training)

The focus of a 1-Session is only on potty and crate/ playpen training

The 3-Session Training Program includes potty and crate/ playpen training, and also covers introductory obedience/ manners training and 1-3 behavior issues

2 - Puppy Started Right!

The focus of this 6-session package is to give your puppy the foundation training that all dogs need to have reliable manners, basic obedience with leash training, while resolving most common puppy behavior issues.

This is a Training Program of 1-Session or 3-Sessions

For puppies 2 to 9 months of age

First session is about 90 minutes

Additional sessions are about 60 minutes each

Although the focus of Puppy Business is primarily for Potty with Crate/ Playpen Training, the 3-session Puppy Business Program also includes:

• proper use of positive reinforcement so puppy loves to learn and lives to please you

• intro sit, come when called, down & wait

• how to set your pup up for easier, long term success

• how to be the loving, consistent & trustworthy pack leader that puppies need

• how to prevent and resolve common puppy behavior issues such as: play biting, jumping on people or furniture, destructive chewing or stealing items

*All private sessions are always tailored for your and your dog's needs

(*Note: This 3 session package does not include leash walking. Check out the 6-session Puppy Started Program below that includes polite walking on leash.)

The focus of this 6-session package is to give your puppy the foundation training that all dogs need to have reliable manners, basic obedience with leash training, while resolving most common puppy behavior issues.

Customized for you and your puppy of 3 to 9 months of age

Puppy begins foundation obedience like sit, down, wait, come when called, and leash walking

Every session focuses on preventing, managing and resolving common puppy behavior issues such as:

• play mouthing and biting,

• jumping on people / furniture,

• destructive chewing,

• jumping on and off furniture,

• digging,

• counter / table surfing for food

  Your puppy also learns:

• “off" furniture, beds, people

• “wait” at doors, for feeding, for cars, etc

• "move" out of the way

• accepting physical handling & grooming

Linda strongly believes in preventing future dog behavior problems by educating dog owners

All sessions include teaching dog owners:

• how to set up your pup for success

• good dog owner management skills

• how to be a loving, consistent and trustworthy pack leader

• how dogs communicate and how humans mis-communicate to dogs

• when and how to say "no" (the most over used word by dog owners)
